It’s a cold, wet January day and I feel in need of a splash of colour!
Umbrella drinks and beach holidays may seem far away, but there’s no reason you can’t enjoy a fun and colourful drink at home during the dark evenings.
Some of you might be completing Dry January, but whether your drink is spiked or soft, it can still look lovely!
I received these lovely Mason Ceramic Shot Glasses for Christmas, and just love the old-fashioned style and great colours. Mason style glasses are becoming more common in the shops, and they are a great investment, as can be used for a wide range of drinks, or even desserts or dips!
Try them filled with mini cosmopolitans and served with cut-off straws:
Do you have a drink that tastes nice but looks dull? Dress your glasses with cocktail umbrellas!
Do you have a sweet tooth? The glasses look great with classic sweeties, which can be used as quirky stirrers!
Get creative, and see what you can come up with! Remember – even soft drinks seem more fun in these.
Try a Drumstick Cocktail (fills 4 Mason Shot Glasses):
- 30ml Absolut Vanilla Vodka
- 30ml Absolut Raspberry Vodka
- 150ml Sprite (light if desired)
This cocktail is clear in colour, so is perfect for the pretty ceramic containers.
Or, for a non-alcoholic alternative, try a Passionata (fills 4 Mason Shot Glasses):
- 40ml Monin Passion Fruit syrup
- 25ml fresh lime juice
- 15ml lemonade or soda
However you get through the cold evenings, remember to enjoy (responsibly) x
